Granite Countertop optical illusion

When taking pictures of this beautiful kitchen we built in Utah (the white cabinets are getting very popular), we ended up with an interesting optical illusion.

At first, you may be puzzled. But look closely and you'll see it's a reflection off the dark granite countertops.
